The business has subsequently expanded to provide a wide range of services including power line clearance for customers like Scottish and Southern Energy, and in meeting the needs of householders and small contractors in site clearance and other tree related works. As an environmentally conscious company, County Tree Services is committed to caring for the environment in which it works, and to re-using as much of the waste created as possible for use as bio-fuel products, mulching or firewood. County Tree Services are committed to managing the business in a quality manner. The company’s quality system ensures that customer, statutory and regulatory requirements are met at all times. The company is committed to continually improving the quality of performance by setting and reviewing new quality objectives and in developing and refining the system towards ISO 9001 accreditation. All employees are NPTC trained and work to the BS 3998 standard of work in Arboriculture. This qualification is recognised by Forest Enterprise and all major companies within the Industry as a requirement before any chainsaw operations can be carried out. All employees have also received First Aid training, and are qualified for lighting, signing and guarding for undertaking road side work with regard to Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual, and the Code of Practice for Safety at Street Works and Road Works. Where applicable, all work shall be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of The Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996. |
